Incident at SIRI’s Citizen Centre on 28 September

On 28 September, an incident took place at SIRI’s Citizen Centre at Carl Jacobsens Vej 39 in Valby, where a man set himself on fire. The man was taken to hospital and is not in a life-threatening condition.

The man was alone, and the incident involved self-harm. No one else was injured.

Crisis support is being offered to witnesses and SIRI employees.

The situation is under control and is being handled in cooperation with the police and crisis psychologists.

SIRI’s Citizen Centre in Valby will remain closed for the rest of the day. Anyone whose appointment has been cancelled as a result of the incident will be given a new appointment and receive a new appointment notice.
