New digital application for you who is going to apply for family reunification with a Danish citizen under EU regulations
Today on 8 July 2026, the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) has launched a new digital application, OD2A-C. You can use this application to apply for family reunification with a Danish citizen under EU regulations. This means that as of today, you can complete and submit your application directly on newtodenmark.dk.
What does this mean for you as an applicant?
You can use the application to apply for a residence document as an accompanying family member to a Danish citizen who has used their right to free movement and established actual and real residence in another EU country.
The new digital application looks different than the printable version. We guide you on how to complete the application correctly on the relevant application page, on newtodenmark.dk, as well as within the application itself:
The application also gives you access to a platform where you can log in and see all of your ongoing applications, as well as your completed applications, for up to 30 days.
It is still possible for you to submit the printable version of the form.
