Stricter case processing of applications for an agricultural internship by applicants from Uganda
In connection with its case processing, SIRI has observed conditions that have led to the need for a stricter case processing of applications for a residence permit for an agricultural internship by applicants from Uganda.
As part of the stricter case processing, applicants, who are in the process of getting a residence permit, will be called in for an interview before a decision will be made in the case. This is in order to uncover the applicant’s credibility, and whether the applicant genuinely fulfils the conditions in order to get a residence and work permit in Denmark.
Longer case processing time expected
Due to the stricter case processing and the conduct of interviews, SIRI does not expect to be able to process cases concerning applications for an agricultural internship within the normal case processing time of 2 months. SIRI will strive to process the cases as soon as possible.
