The user satisfaction with SIRI’s branch offices is high
In week 45 2025, SIRI carried out a user survey in our branch offices throughout the country. The satisfaction among the users who answered the survey is generally very high.
97 percent are satisfied
Generally, the users were asked if they were satisfied with the service they received. Out of the 2,068 visitors, 846 participated in the survey during the period in which the survey was conducted (a response rate of 40 percent). The survey was carried out in the branch offices in Valby, Aarhus, Odense, Aalborg, Esbjerg, Sønderborg and Rønne, as well as at SIRI’s counter at the International Citizen Service (ICS) in Copenhagen. 726 out of the 846 people were either very satisfied or satisfied, 3 were dissatisfied and 9 were very dissatisfied.
This corresponds to 97 percent of the participants being very satisfied or satisfied with the service. Therefore, the survey indicates that satisfaction with the service in the branch offices is generally high.
What do the branch offices do?
SIRI's branch offices process applications for EU residence for foreigners. The branch offices also record biometrics and carry out ID checks for a number of applicants from countries outside the EU.
As a citizen, you must book an appointment at a branch office when you apply for EU residence or submit an application for a residence and work permit under the Aliens Act. You must also book an appointment when you need to have your biometrics recorded or apply for a re-entry permit.
It is not possible to book an appointment for personal guidance on the rules for residencies. If you need guidance, you are welcome to call SIRI.
