From 1 May 2022 the deadline for recording biometrics with SIRI is once again 14 days

Due to the Covid-19 situation, the deadline for recording of biometrics (fingerprints and facial photo) was extended by the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) from 14 days to 4 weeks for a lengthy period of time. On 30 April 2022 this extended deadline ceases to exist since the Covid-19 situation has stabilised.

This means that you have 14 days to have your biometrics recorded from the date you submit your application, if you submit your application on 1 May 2022 or later. If you are not able to comply with this deadline of 14 days, you must contact SIRI and give an explanation as to why you have not had your biometrics recorded.

If you are applying after a scheme administered by the Danish Immigration Service including if you are a citizen of Ukraine applying for residence under the Special Act on displaced persons from Ukraine, then the above does not apply to you.
