The phones are also closed on all public holidays, the day after Ascension Day, Constitution Day (June 5), the day after Constitution Day and between 24 December and 1 January (both days included).

You are under 18

You may not, as a general rule, translate or interpret between us and, for example, the applicant.

You may translate simple information, such as our opening hours, or if you need confirmation that the applicant has an appointment to record their biometric features.

You need an interpreter

You may bring someone over the age of 18 with you to help you.

Contact SIRI if you need an interpreter.

With a power of attorney

You can contact SIRI on behalf of the applicant as you will act as their representative in the case. This means that you will be provided with all the information relating to the case.

Without a power of attorney

SIRI can only provide you with information about another person’s case if you have sent us a power of attorney. This applies even if the person in question is a family member or friend.

Call with the applicant

You can grant a verbal power of attorney over the phone if you and the applicant are both on the call to SIRI.

The applicant must be able to understand and answer our questions themselves.
