The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) has established service goals for most case types, i.e. maximum time limits on how long time an applicant can expect to wait for a decision.

The service goals are calculated from the day SIRI has received a fully complete application. A fully complete application is an application featuring all relevant information, signed all the required places and with all the required documentation attached.

SIRI determines whether the application is fully complete.

The vast majority of applications are fully complete, and you will typically not hear from us until you receive our decision.

If the application is not fully complete, you will be notified as fast as possible. In such cases, the service goal changes to 3 months for case types with an initial service goal of 1 month.

The service goals for first time applications vary from 1 to 3 moths, depending on the type of application.

It can have an influence on the service goals if the number of cases is extraordinarily high, e.g. due to seasonal variations.

As an example, the service goal for a first time application as a researcher is 1 month. A fully complete application submitted on 1 February will be fully processed no later than 1 March of the same year.
