EU citizens are citizens from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus (only the Greek-Cypriote area), Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Rumania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

EEA citizens are citizens from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

Citizens from EU/EEA, who wish to stay in Denmark, are comprised by separate rules.

Citizens from Switzerland are assessed after the same rules as for EU/EEA citizens.
