Power of attorney in press inquiries
The Immigration Service is obligated to be confidential and cannot pass on person sensitive and confidential information regarding our cases.
As a journalist or a media outlet you must have a written power of attorney in order to get access to a foreigners case at the Immigration Service and receive person sensitive and confidential information about the foreigner’s case.
The Immigration Service has made a form for a power of attorney that the press can use.

If your issue concerns a specific case or application, your data will filed on the case created in our digital case management and filing system. If your e-mail only contains a general enquiry, your e-mail will be deleted once we have responded to it.
