Power of attorney in press inquiries

The Immigration Service is obligated to be confidential and cannot pass on person sensitive and confidential information regarding our cases.

As a journalist or a media outlet you must have a written power of attorney in order to get access to a foreigners case at the Immigration Service and receive person sensitive and confidential information about the foreigner’s case.

The Immigration Service has made a form for a power of attorney that the press can use.
