The requirement of testing and isolation for everyone entering Denmark from 25 October 2021

Persones, who travel to Denmark from the EU or Schengen region and who are fully vaccinated, previously infected, or hold a negative COVID-19-test, can enter Denmark without restrictions. If you cannot document that you are fully vaccinated, previously infected, or have a negative COVID-19-test, it is a requirement that you are tested no later than 24 hours after the entry into Denmark.

The requirement applies to all who travel to Denmark from the EU or Schengen region; including persons with Danish citizenship and residence in Denmark.

Fully vaccinated persons, who are entering from OECD countries, countries on the EU’s positive list that Denmark has opened up for, and countries who gradually join the EU COVID pass system, can enter Denmark without requirements for testing or isolation.

Non-vaccinated persons, who travel in from countries on the EU’s positive list that Denmark has opened up for, are required to take a COVID-19 test after entry.

Persons, who travel to Denmark from other countries than those mentioned above require testing and isolation after entry.

With cruise ship tourism, a COVID pass is required before boarding, along with testing before disembarking, in case there is a breakout on the ship.
