The Immigration Service extends deadline for recording of biometric features until 30 October 2020
For an extended period, it has not been possible to get biometric features recorded due to COVID-19 and the Immigration Service still experience a huge demand for time slots to show up in person at our Citizen Service and have biometric features (photo and fingerprints) recorded for applications for residence permit.
The Immigration Service therefore extends the deadline for recording of biometric features to 30 October 2020.
The extension of the deadline applies to all application submitted from 15 February 2020 even though the guidance in the application forms state that the biometric features must be recorded within 14 days from when the application is submitted.
The applicants must ensure on their own that they book an appointment to get biometric features recorded within the deadline.
