Online payment of embassy fees

If you apply for a Danish residence and work permit from abroad and must have your biometric features recorded and maybe submit documentation, you must pay a fee to the embassy or consulate handling your application.

Starting 1 July 2019, you must pay this fee online on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. You must access this link: https://dys.um.dk/permit/. You must pay the embassy fee if you are going to submit your application to an embassy or to a visa application centre or if you appear to receive your residence permit and be issued an entry visa.

The receipt for the payment  of the embassy fee must be printed and submitted to the relevante diplomatic mission or visa application centre, when you appear to hand in your passport, relevant documentation and have your biometrics recorded.

You can find a list of places to submit your application on Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark webpage “Where to apply”

Please note that you must pay up to three different fees when submitting an application for a residence and work permit from abroad:

1) Case processing fee to the Danish Immigration Service or the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI)
2) Embassy fee
3) Visa application centre fee, if you are submitting your application to such a centre (e.g. VFS Global)
