You can call the number for example if:

  • you are subject to violence or negative social control
  • you are questioning how ending a cohabitation will affect your residence permit
  • you stay at a crisis center or
  • you have minor children and you want guidance on how to apply for family reunification to your children.

You can also book an appointment for a personal talk with a caseworker. 

Authorities, support people, and other people who want guidance on the abovementioned issues can also contact the Immigration Service on the number above.

If you are experiencing violence or abuse and need general help and counselling that does not concern your residence permit, you can call the national hotline operated by Lev Uden Vold on telephone number +45 18 88.

The hotline is free of charge, anonymous, and open 24 hours a day – all year round.
