Hotline for young people subjected to force
The Immigration Service has a guidance system for young foreign nationals who are at risk of being sent abroad on an involuntary stay or at risk of being forced into marriage or entering into a marriage that they are not fully happy with.
You can call and get guidance on telephone number +45 70 26 28 18 on all weekdays between 9 AM – 3 PM.
You can call the number if:
- you are at risk of being sent abroad in order to marry,
- you are at risk of being sent on a re-education trip abroad, or
- you are not sure whether you want to enter into an arranged marriage
You can also book an appointment for a personal meeting with a caseworker.
The Immigration Service has the option to refuse to issue a passport for you or revoke your current passport if it is suspected that you will be sent abroad for one of the abovementioned purposes. Read more issuing of passports
