SIRI warns against fraudulent phone calls

The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) has recently learned that someone has called a citizen and pretended to be a SIRI employee. The call seemed to come from one of SIRI’s main phone numbers.

If SIRI calls a citizen, we will generally use a hidden number or a local number. In other words, the last four digits of the phone number will not be one of our main numbers: 7214 2001/ 7214 2002/ 7214 2003 or 7214 2004.

SIRI will never ask you to transfer money in any other way than through the digital solution on newtodenmark.dk, nor will we ask you to submit documents in any other way than through our contact form on newtodenmark.dk.

If you doubt whether the caller is from SIRI, please disconnect the call and call SIRI directly.
