The Danish Immigration Service is closed on all public holidays, the day after Ascension Day, Constitution Day (June 5) and between 24 December and 1 January (both days included).
If your enquiry is regarding a
concrete case, please make sure to bring all relevant information and documentation. Relevant information can be the applicant's full name date of birth or the case number, Person ID or Alien Identification number (Udl.nr.).
When visiting Citizen Service
Normally, you need to take a number when visiting Citizen Service. However, certain service windows are reserved for particular types of enquiries which do not require you to take a number:
- Window 1 – if you want general information or need an application form.
- Window 2 – if you wish to apply for a new residence card or an alien's passport.
- Window 11 – If you have received a letter with information about you having to appear in person to have your biometric features recorded.
