You are welcome to take a number half an hour before the Service Centre opens. The waiting room will be open.

General questions
If you have a general question, i.e. a question not regarding a concrete case, you may be able to find the information you need on this web portal. Among other things, you can find information about customer service goals, and you can download application forms and publications.
Questions regarding a concrete case
Due to professional secrecy, we are only allowed to give you information about a concrete case if you are the applicant, the spouse/partner of the applicant, or have a letter of consent from the applicant or his/her spouse/partner.
If you are a first-time applicant (or his/her spouse/partner), you can also call the case worker processing the case directly. You can find his/her direct telephone number and telephone hours in the letter we sent to you or your spouse/partner after receiving the application for family reunification. If you have not yet received this letter or cannot find the direct telephone number, you can also call the above telephone number. Please make sure you know the full name and Alien Identification number (Udl.nr.) of the applicant.
If you have applied for an extension of your residence permit, you cannot call your case worker directly. Instead, you must call the above number.
Much of the information we have about applicants is confidential. Due to professional secrecy, we are not allowed to give this information to persons not entitled to it. For this reason, we may have to ask you certain questions in order to verify that you are entitled to the information.
Public holidays
The Immigration Service is closed on all public holidays, the day after Ascension Day, Constitution Day (June 5) and between 24 December and 1 January (both days included).
