The Immigration Service’s EU hotline can provide you with detailed information and advice about your rights under the EU regulations on free movement.

The EU hotline can explain and elaborate on the information found on the page about EU/EEA citizens and in the Immigration Service application forms. We recommend that you familiarise yourself with this information before calling the hotline.

The EU hotline cannot provide information about the expected outcome of individual applications or the processing status of a pending application.

Public holidays

The Immigration Service is closed on all public holidays, the day after Ascension Day, Constitution Day (June 5) and between 24 December and 1 January (both days included).
