Enquiry about a concrete case
You may be a party to a concrete case if you are an applicant, or if you are the applicant's representative (e.g. attorney) or the applicant's family member, employer, educational institution, place of internship, host family, or similar.
If you wish to enquire about the status of the case, you can often find the answer on My Page. This requires that you have a Danish CPR number and NemID. On My Page you can see if the case:
- has been received
- awaits further information
- awaits payment of fee
- is being processed
- has been desided
If you have other questions regarding the case, you can call or write us. In most cases, you will get the quickest answer to your question by calling us.
If you need to send us further information or documentation, you can either do this through My Page, Digital Post, e-mail or ordinary post.
Please note: We are not allowed to send you confidential or sensitive information by ordinary email. We can only give this type of information by telephone, secure email, Digital Post, My Page or ordinary post.
If you contact us about a concrete case, it is important that you have the required information at hand. Such information could be:
- the applicant's full name
- the applicant's date of birth
- the applicant's nationality
- the case number
- the applicant's CPR number
- the applicant's Person ID
- the Case Order ID (SB-id)
- the company's ES/CVR number

Biometric features and re-entry permits
If you need to have your biometric features recorded for use on your residence card, or you need to apply for a re-entry permit, you can do this in our Citizen Centre on Njalsgade 72C, Copenhagen S. If you live outside Greater Copenhagen, you can also have your biometric features recorded or submit applications with your local police.
