- Průkaz o povolení k pobytu pro cizince (Residence permit for aliens) - green booklet, issued from 1996 to 1.5.2004 to permanently resident aliens, from 1.5.2004 to 27.4.2006 for temporary or permanent residence to family members of EU citizens and also citizens of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
- Povolení k pobytu (Residence permit) - sticker, affixed to travel document, issued from 15.3.2003 to 30.4.2004 to permanently resident aliens.
- Povolení k pobytu (Residence permit) - uniform Schengen visa sticker, affixed to travel document, issued from 1.5.2004 to third-country aliens (relevant category of residence indicated on sticker).
- Průkaz o povolení k pobytu pro státního příslušníka členského státu Evropských společenství (Residence permit for a national of an EC Member State) - violet booklet, issued from 1.5.2004 to 15.1.2007 for temporary or permanent residence to EU citizens.
- Potvrzení o přechodném pobytu na území (Authorisation for temporary stay on the territory) - folding document, (neobold paper) issued from 27.4.2006 to EU citizens and to citizens of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
- Průkaz o povolení k trvalému pobytu občana Evropské unie (Permanent residence card for a European Union citizen) - violet booklet, issued from 1.1.2007 to EU citizens.
- Průkaz o pobytu rodinného příslušníka občana Evropské unie (Residence card of a family member of a European Union citizen) - blue booklet, issued from 27.4.2006 for temporary residence of family members of European Union citizens
- Průkaz o povolení k trvalému pobytu (Permanent residence card) - green booklet, issued from 27.4.2006 to family members of EU citizens. Issued from 27.4.2006 to 21.12.2007 to citizens of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
- Průkaz o povolení k pobytu pro cizince (Residence permit, green booklet) – issued from the date of the full application of the Schengen acquis by the Czech Republic to Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland nationals.
- Průkaz o povolení k pobytu azylanta (Residence permit for a person granted asylum, grey booklet) – issued to persons granted asylum.
- Průkaz o oprávnění k pobytu osoby požívající doplňkové ochrany (Residence permit for a person granted subsidiary protection, yellow booklet) – issued to persons granted subsidiary protection.

- Trvalý pobyt v ČR platný od ... (Permanent residence in CR valid from) (previously Trvalý pobyt v ČR od ...)
- or Rodinný příslušník občana Evropské unie (Family member of an EU citizen)
