Nordic cooperation
The Integration Ministry contributes to the Nordic Council's work when this is relevant.
Cooperation between the Nordic countries on asylum and immigration primarily occurs within the Nordic High Level Cooperation Group for Refugee Issues (NSHF).
An annual ministers' meeting is held as well as numerous meetings with public officials. The goal of these meetings is to exchange information and experiences and implement definite initiatives around shared interests. NSHF is chaired by all the Nordic countries on annual rotation. Denmark will take over the chairmanship in 2007.
