Minister’s Office

The Minister’s Office serves the minister and the permanent secretary and is the link between the minister and the ministry. The office also functions as gateway to the Minister for the surroundings, i.a. the Parliament, other ministers, the public and the press.

The office assists the Minister in relation to governmental duties and in relation to the Parliament and coordinates matters, which are to be presented to the Permanent Secretary and the Minister, while ensuring quality of these presentations.

The Minister’s Office is furthermore responsible for in-house and external communication. The office is a staff function with reference to the Permanent Secretary. The office engage 16 employees.
