The authorities behind newtodenmark.dk
Newtodenmark.dk is run by two agencies: the Danish Immigration Service (under the Ministry of Justice) and the Danish Immigration Service under the Ministry of Employment. - Humanitarian residence is now the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice
- Danish citizenship is now the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice
- Danish as a second language instruction is now the responsibility of the Ministry of Children and Education
- Integration policy, prevention of radicalisation and integration studies are now the responsibility of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration

Changes to newtodenmark.dk
Newtodenmark.dk is currently undergoing thorough revisions to cater for the splitting up of the former Danish Immigration Service into two new agencies as of 1 January 2012.
All information in the 'Coming to Denmark' section of newtodenmark.dk is based on the current immigration regulations. The government has proposed a number of changes to these policies.
