Rejection of EU citizens
In a case concerning two Romanian citizens suspected of trick theft, the Danish Immigration Service has decided on a rejection. As a result, the two persons in question were put on a plane back to Romania.
When questioned by the police, the two Romanians denied the trick theft. However, as they could show no means to support themselves during their stay in Denmark or to cover the plane tickets back to Romania, it was possible for the Immigration Service to decide on a rejection on these grounds alone.
