Online Danish

Online Danish is a free online course in Danish language that will make it possible for foreign national job seekers to learn Danish before coming to work in Denmark.

At present Online Danish is under development and is expected to be launched in the second half of 2011.

There are however already some opportunities for learning Danish online for both beginners and more practiced users.

About Online Danish

Online Danish will be targeted at students who have never spoken Danish before as well as students with some knowledge of Danish. Online Danish will include a self-placement module making it possible for everyone to start at the right level.

The tuition will consist of modules at different levels of proficiency. Each module will include exercises in speaking, writing, listening and reading.

Online Danish is mainly intended for people who want to work in Denmark. To complement the language tuition modules, Online Danish consists of two information modules about working in Denmark. These information modules are also translated into English, German and Polish. The modules are on the subjects of Working life in Denmark and Occupational safety and health on the work place.
