Residence and work permits

The Danish Ministry of Refugee, Immigration and Integration Affairs has provided an overview of how to get a residence and work permit, the special schemes for certain professional fields, and other important information about working in Denmark.

The civil registry number

The Ministry of the Interior and Health has outlined the requirements for allocating civil registry numbers to those who are registered in Denmark on the grounds of relocation from abroad or who, according to tax authorities, must have such a number for the purpose of having tax affairs handled in Denmark.
