Worktrotter

Globetrotters travel the world for the thrill of the adventure, “Worktrotters” travel to work in other countries. Also to Denmark.

The Worktrotter network is aimed at international professionals, who have moved to Denmark for long or short-term but also at Danes who want to link to the international community. Life in a foreign country can be sad, confusing frustrating and lonesome. We want to make it sparkly and valuable. Activities are led by foreigners, because who would know better what type of help newcomers need? As the activities run in cooperation with Danes we connect both groups. We don't want to live in an expat-bubble.

The Worktrotter website and “The Worktrotter's Guide to Denmark” provides practical advice, insights by expats for expats, hints and tips, suggestions and recommendations, to make the first steps and the settling process for newcomers easier. See http://www.worktrotter.dk/guide

The Worktrotter events cover different interests:

  • Spark up your stay: events where practical topics of the day-to-day life in Denmark are covered
  • Vi taler dansk: socialize in Danish and actively start using the language in a “safe” environment
  • Business corner: exchange ideas with entrepreneurial-minded people
  • Job seekers: get inspiration and ideas from fellow job searchers

And other social events to make friends in your new home.

Join us and have fun!
